PROCEDURE
Products were mixed into a chemical tank on the planter, tank mixed, and then injected over the furrow prior to the shoes covering the seed piece for a direct seed piece contact application. NanoPro® was added to the trial area and the grower standard was applied everywhere else. At the end of the season (end of september) digs and grading were done to determine sizing profile. Digs were 10 ft long. Three digs per treatment were recorded. Tuber counts and weights of each tuber were recorded.

CONCLUSION
Overall, the average tuber size and count were both higher on the NanoPro® treatment than the grower standard (8.9% increase). Higher yield and higher density both result in higher per acre income for the grower (yield and quality). Better and quicker fungicide and insecticide uptake results in healthier plants with more vigor. This leads to higher yields and better nutrient transfer between sinks. In conclusion, adding NanoPro® creates higher yield and higher quality potatoes.
