Parker Brown, Sales Agronomist for TriYield based out of Florida, recently trialed NanoPro® on tomatoes. The goal of this trial was to increase the plant uptake of Active Ingredients (AI) applied through the drip tape using NanoPro®. If Aqua-Yield® patented nanoliquid™ technology can increase the efficiency of uptake of chemical active ingredients, fertilizers, and biostimulants, then an increase of ppm of AI (relative to control) should be observed in post-application tissue testing.
Samples were collected 2 hours post-application, 18 hours post-application, and 24 hours post-application. The timing is crucial for demonstrating the translocation curve of AI within the plant and how quickly the NanoPro® moves AI into the plant.
Results: Venom® Insecticide and Rhyme® fungicide leaf concentrations were higher in the NanoPro® treatment than the control treatment for the 2 hr and 24 hr samples. Additionally, the 18 hr Rhyme® fungicide leaf concentration levels were higher for the NanoPro® treatment than the control.
Conclusions: This demonstration serves as proof of concept for Aqua-Yield® nanoliquid™ technology. This trial was conducted in good faith by TriYield, exclusive dealer of Aqua-Yield® nanoliquid™ products in the state of Florida.
