President & COO

Mark Slavens has a long history with agriculture. With over 10+ years of experience of plant science under his belt he is driven by identifying new innovative products and programs for growers while expanding business opportunities and partnerships. Mark is the President and COO and oversees the success of Nano-Yield. He is always up for a new challenge to assist in the agricultural world. When he’s not chasing the latest agricultural concept, he’s enjoying life outdoors. You can catch his family mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, and snowboarding. Mark also coaches baseball. Mark earned his B.S. in Business and Horticulture from Utah State University, his M.S. in Crop Physiology from Utah State University, and his Ph.D. in Horticulture Biology from Cornell University.
